IMPORTANT NOTE FOR MEDIA PERSONS:-

1.

Foreign Journalists require either a J-VISA or an introductory letter from the
respective foreign missions or a regular VISA and permission letter form Ministry of External
Affairs.
|
|
2.
|
The Photographers, Film Makers, other Audio-Video and Web media representatives from abroad must
submit scanned copies of their J-VISA and other documents. Other formalities required are mentioned
above.
|
|
3.
|
An authority letter from the concerning Agency/Print Media/Electronic/Web portal media should be
enclosed but should be produced in original at the time of collecting the authorization cards.
|
|
4.
|
The Kumbh Mela Media Coverage authorization Cards would be issued duly signed by the Mela Adhikari,
SSP and Director Information or their authorized signatories.
|
|
5.
|
A Valid PIB accreditation card / State Level Accreditation card/Identity Card issued by the Ministry
of External Affairs Press Division for foreign Media Persons is also acceptable as an identity proof.
All accreditation Cards (except cards issued by the U.P.Information Deptt.) would be verified by a
resident PIB Officer camping in media camp, Lal Sarak, Kumbh Mela.

Two Passport Size Photographs (3.5X 4.5 cms)
|
|
7.
|
Other relevant identity documents, if required
|
|
8.
|
The decision of the concerning authorities regarding providing accommodation facilities and the permission
to use media centre work station by the media persons applying for facilities would be final and binding.
|
|
9.
|
Merely filling in this form does not guarantee or entitle to any facility whatsoever.
|
|
10.
|
For National/Regional Media Persons:-
The Media Persons having PIB/State Level Accreditation shall be considered for
the sharing accommodation allotment for NOT more than three days at a time. |
|
11.
|
For the Media Persons from Abroad :-
The Media persons from Abroad may get accommodation on sharing basis. |
